Caroline Coleman

Caroline is an experienced Core Process Psychotherapist (Karuna Institute), accredited by UKCP. In addition to her Core Process practice, she works therapeutically with the arts, especially with clients who find it difficult to describe experience verbally. She has many years prior experience of working hospitals, community and hospice. Caroline works with individual adults, young people and children from about 8 years. She specialises in long-term therapy but accepts some short-term clients. Caroline works with a wide range of issues, including:
- Work / Relationship problems
- Mental health
- Shock and trauma (PTSD)
- Loss
- Anxiety
- Stress (including burn out)
- Depression (Clinical and Post natal)
- Low self-esteem
- Dependency
- Abuse
- Meaninglessness
- Suicide
- Self harm
Core Process is holistic, and includes mind, body and spirit in its enquiry. It is informed by Buddhist principles and western psychological theory. In addition, a personal interest in shamanism, the transpersonal, and pre / perinatal psychology influences Caroline’s work as does wide-ranging life experience. “ It is not my intention to direct, or interpret, client's experience, but rather to facilitate awareness, which, in itself, is inherently healing and leads to the sense of more choice in life.”
Caroline offers a free initial consultation to discuss your needs. Please enquire.
